Pay-TV operator MiTV Corporation Sdn Bhd (MiTV) has reduced the retail price of its existing premium internet multimedia terminal (set-top-box) from RM1,188 to RM799 with immediate effect.

It also plans to release a lower priced version of its set-top-box in the market early 2006 priced at RM399 and also reduce monthly subscription rate for all new customers from RM68 to RM30.

Hm.. so that's Astro competitor. But MiTV is still far from reach for ordinary people like me to buy their services. Most of all because of it's pricing of set-top-box and monthly bill is still expensive. A good move by them to reduce a price. But it's still expensive!
